In a time-honored practice in South Korea's corporate culture, the 38-year-old manager at an online game company took his 10-person team on twice-weekly after-work drinking bouts. He exhorted his subordinates to drink, including a 29-year-old graphic designer who protested that her limit was two glasses of beer.

...Since the big guns stopped firing in 1953....the Korean women now have a BIG say in "Yes or No"....good for them!!...as South Korea looks more and more like the United States...no more 'itty-wa' for the distaff side on that peninsula....what South Korea has accomplished in the last 53 years [from an oppressed fuedal society into a modern industrial giant] supplants the 'forgotten war' expression into the..."forgotten VICTORY"....3 cheers for the valiant Korean War Veterans here in the Big PX!!

The same corporate culture exists here in Japan. I'm honoured to be included in this after-work weekly ritual. There doesn't seem to be same pressure put on the ladies as there is the men here. Most women will nurse their "Calpis sour" (I Love that name) all night. There is one lady here that I never try to keep up with- she's an absolute Viking and a few others don't mess around either. Don't get the impression by this article that ALL women are dragged kicking and screaming along to these events, most are willing participants.

As a footnote, having said that there are exceptions to every rule and the "blokey" culture is still alive and well. However as women are filling less subordinate roles these days, often you will see mixed groups at the Isakaya's (pubs) and the women are just as rowdy as the men.

              Stress Reliever # 15

A wife asked her husband: "What do you like most in me

              - my pretty face or my sexy body?"

He looked at her from head to toe and replied:

"I like your sense of humor."

small jokes Chuck:)A man escapes from prison where he has been for 15years.He breaks into a house to look for money and guns and finds a young couple in bed.He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair, while tying the girl to the bed he gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the hus-band tells his wife: "Listen, this guy's an escaped convict, look at his clothes! He probably spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a women in years.I saw how he kissed your neck " if he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain,do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is probably very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us.Be strong honey.I love you."To which his wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear.He told me he was gay, thought you were cute, and asked me if we had any Vaseline.I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey,I love you too!!
